Current scenario of hydropower and forecast of surplus-Hydroelectricity in Nepal

 The first analysis of the current scenario is essential to predict surplus production. The following figure shows the data of Nepal's operated, under-construction, and purposed hydropower plants.

        Currently, Nepal's different hydropower plants are generating 1145 MW of electricity. The graph above shows that an additional 943 MW of energy will be produced shortly, followed by 3219 MW after some time, which is now in the planning stage.
